IPMP Organizational Breakdown Structure – OBS

 

The Governing Council Board 

The Governing Council of the institute is made up ten (10) members, five administrative members (the Executive Director, President, Registrar, Director of Membership and Director of Finance) and five (5) members from the industrial field. The Council Board of IPMP meets regularly to provide inputs on academic, research, administration, outreach, advocacy, and development. The Board reviews our Competence Base Training/Learning (CBT/CBL) curriculum and Membership Level Programs, programs educational objectives, and program outcomes, and offers suggestions for change to keep them current. The board evaluates the quality and scope of our research, its relationship to our programs, its relevancy and help guide future directions. The Board recommends way to build new relationship with industry and to go strengthen those we have. 

 

Functions of the Council

The Council is required to carry out all functions and powers entrusted to it by the Convention, as well as any functions delegated to it by the Conference. In so doing, the Council must act in conformity with the recommendations, decisions and guidelines of the Conference, and must ensure their proper and continuous implementation.

  • The Institute act in the best interests of beneficiaries; make sure money is spent on purpose intended; operate within an organizational structure which sets out purpose and rules; and avoid conflicts of interest.
